Principal Advisor, Business, Innovation and Skills, ATEED
Melissa is a principal advisor at ATEED where she develops partnerships with Auckland businesses to grow employment and skills. She returned to New Zealand in 2011 to work for the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment, following a decade in London working in the international development sector on official aid policy and development finance issues.
Melissa brings extensive New Zealand and international experience in the private, non-government, and public sectors, and is an economic development expert. Current projects include the BuildAKL industry youth recruitment campaign and a secondment to manage the CBD Jobs and Skills Hub, which has been created to support recruitment and upskilling for large developments in Auckland’s city centre.
