General Manager, Corporate Services at Watercare
Adrienne Miller is General Manager, Corporate Services at Watercare - a role she has held since March 2016. Her back ground is in the law. She graduated from Otago University in 1989 with BA in History and a First Class Honours degree in Law.
She has been practising law for over 25 years, initially working in private practice (Chapman Tripp, Wellington) and then inhouse heading up the legal functions respectively at Waste Management N.Z. Limited, Carter Holt Harvey trading as “CHH Woodproducts NZ” and most recently as the GC at Downer NZ. She moved to her current role last year as a deliberate attempt to broaden her experience. She is responsible at Watercare for HR, Health and Safety, IT, Facilities and Legal.
She’s also a member of Infrastructure New Zealand WIN (Women in Infrastructure) Advisory Board, been involved in the Smart Seeds program and the #BuildAKL Campaign and has championed her organisations signing of the Youth Pledge and involvement in Connexis’s Girls with Hi Vis campaign. Shes passionate about diversity in all its forms and keen to be contributing to the wider community.
