Dave Colquhoun

Procurement Manager, Infrastructure, Auckland Transport

Dave is one of four Procurement Managers at Auckland Transport where his Infrastructure Procurement team support the delivery of Auckland Transport’s Physical Works projects andEngineering and Technical Professional Services as well as providing procurement support to the Strategy and Development division. 

Dave has a Supply Chain, Logistics and Procurement background, including 22 years in the Royal New Zealand Air Force as a Logistics Officer, including a four-year tour to Washington, DC, as New Zealand’s Defence Logistics Officer. 

Dave has also held roles as the Procurement Manager at the Auckland Regional Transport Authority and New Zealand General Manager of a Canadian-owned Military Logistics company. Since joining Auckland Transport in 2014, Dave has been responsible for leading Sustainable Procurement and has implemented new approaches to sustainability in AT procurement, including the provision of social procurement outcomes that require targeted recruitment of Māori/Pasifika and Youth trade trainees on major infrastructure projects.

Dave holds a Bachelor of Business Studies degree from Massey University and a National Certificate in Sustainable Practice from Otago Polytechnic.
